Pramati Technologies and CARNOT Inc. form Technology Partnership

Mesa, Arizona. -- April 3, 2002 -- Pramati Technologies and CARNOT Inc. today announced a technology partnership to provide system integrators and ISVs with a more complete offering of J2EE /XML application development tools.

The partnership centers around Pramati Server and CARNOTs Global eProcess Management Solutions (GeMS), the respective core J2EE products of Pramati and CARNOT Inc. As part of the partnership, CARNOTs GeMS has been ported to run on Pramatis application server, and joint marketing activities will be developed and executed.

"Carnot's process management product is a natural extention of Pramatis application server and we are happy to bring Carnot's GeMS product to our customers, who will benefit from a more comprehensive offering," says Mr. Jay Raghavendra Pullur, president and CEO of Pramati Technologies.

The partnership brings together two powerful, compact, and compatible J2EE technologies for customers looking for enterprise application development tools that are tightly integrated in the J2EE framework and allow for rapid deployment," says Mark Crauwels, President of CARNOT Inc.

Pramati provides core technologies to build, run and maintain component applications based on enterprise Java technologies, including Pramati Server, a powerful Java-based application server and Pramati Studio, a server-side IDE for building J2EE applications.
