NeuroPop is presenting a showcase of downtown musicians from the Music From Ground Zero CD on Friday May 17th at Downtown Bar, 211 Pearl Street, in our continuing efforts to bring relief to local businesses and the music community in lower Manhattan.

Music From Ground Zero is a compilation CD featuring artists who live and work in and around the areas of New York City affected by the Sept. 11 terrorists attacks.

Artists featured will include: Benzona, Lisa Ellis, Hotheads, Talia Paul, Simple, and special guests.

Ranging from folk to punk, the show promises to be a classic New York night with something for everyone and a lot of the unexpected.

And of course, in addition to supporting the neighborhood, portions of the proceeds from the evenings events will go directly to the United Firefighters Association Local 94 Widows and Childrens Fund.
