Scalapaq gives the full operational benefits of Scalas e-business management solution without the hassle of running an IT infrastructure

08 April 2002: Scala Business Solutions now works in partnership with specialist managed service provider, ENG Ltd, and Compaq to offer customers in the UK its collaborative e-business system as a managed hosted service. Scalapaq gives the extended operational benefits of Scala 5.1 SQL on Compaq hardware, provided and hosted by ENG for a fixed monthly fee.

Fully scaleable hardware to operate the application is provided with the service, while ENG is responsible for the management and maintenance of the system, upgrades and problem resolution. The Scalapaq service takes away the risks, costs and administrative responsibilities associated with developing and maintaining the required IT infrastructure.
