Verity Systems launches the smallest ever high energy desktop bulk tape eraser (degausser).

Verity Systems brand new Digi Tapemaster eraser is the smallest, high-energy degausser designed specifically for the desk-top erasing of 4mm, 8mm and ½ cartridges.

Traditionally, degaussers have been large and cumbersome, but the advent of Verity Systems compact Digi Tapemaster means that tape erasing can be carried out in any office environment quickly, quietly, effectively and more importantly very safely. The Digi Tapemaster is ideal for erasing a wide range of magnetic media including Hi 8, DLT, 3590, DAT and DVC Pro tapes

The Digi Tapemasters power is not sacrificed by its size. With figures in excess of -75dB for high energy metal tapes and up to -90dB on standard oxide tapes, complete erasure is assured every time. Taking as little as 10 seconds per cassette, erasure times are quick.
