NDG Software Releases New Version of NetBoy Suite

NDG Software's award-winning NetBoy Suite has been updated to support packet capture and traffic monitoring of remote network segments. NetBoy Suite 3.0 has integrated SNMP agent technology from NETWORK HARMONi, Inc. to provide RMON metrics and System/Host resources from remote Windows and Unix servers.

NDG Software's award-winning NetBoy Suite has been updated to support packet capture and traffic monitoring of remote network segments.

SAN DIEGO, CA -- April 5, 2002 -- NDG Software, Inc., the developer of the award-winning NetBoy Suite for monitoring and analyzing network traffic, today announced that their new version, NetBoy Remote 3.0 was available for free trial downloads at www.ndgsoftware.com. NetBoy Remote 3.0 includes two separate utilities, EtherBoy Remote and PacketBoy Remote, that now support the ability to monitor the traffic and capture packet data on any segment of a switched network. These remote versions of the EtherBoy and PacketBoy have integrated a custom SNMP agent from NETWORK HARMONi, Inc, to provide the data from these switched segments.

The NetBoy Remote 3.0 version is available for free trial downloads on the NDG Software website at www.ndgsoftware.com. The package includes, EtherBoy Remote, PacketBoy Remote, NetBoy Agent for Windows, and the NetBoy MIB Browser that provides the ability to configure and control the NetBoy agents and supports reports and real-time graphing of network and system performance. General release of NetBoy Remote 3.0 is scheduled for mid-April, 2002 and will include NetBoy Agent support for Linux, AIX, HP-UX and Solaris environments.
