International Event Producer, Nissa Gadbois of A Lovely Affair attends UKs largest wedding show Meets with some of Britains top event vendors

Nissa Gadbois, owner of A Lovely Affair and corporate events firm, Five Speed Productions, spent one week in early March attending The National Wedding Show held at Londons Olympia Convention Centre at Earls Court and visiting several of Britains top vendors for both private and corporate events.

Among the dozens of exhibitors at the wedding show were the usual fare of chauffer driven cars, pastry chefs, calligraphers, photographers and dress shops. There were, however some standout individuals.

Manchester-based photographer Les Pringle is an artist the likes of which America has not yet seen. Mr. Pringle has a deep passion for what he does and composes each shot from and artistic perspective. He uses rakish angles and beautiful backgrounds, but his crowning achievement is his ability to take individual portraits within a grouping, a la Annie Liebovitz. Hes only half of an amazing powerhouse team that includes Graham Fenton of Graham Fenton Experience, a videographer whose work is more properly called cinema. They will be available to American clients as a team through Nissa Gadbois and A Lovely Affair.

Ms. Gadbois also visited Lavender Green, the florist responsible for the last Royal Wedding. Sue Barnes operates her atelier from a railway arch under Windsor Station. Her designs run the full range from very traditional arrangements to the mildly wacky. Among her other clients are Kensington Palace and the Museum of Natural History and celebrity chef, Anthony Worral-Thompson. On the day of Ms. Gadbois visit, Ms. Barnes staff were putting together some beautiful blue and yellow arrangements in gold urns bound for a dinner party at Kensington as well as some glass cubes filled with glass pebbles and fuchsia gerbera daisies. Some of Ms. Gadbois favorite arrangements, however were those made with metal topiary ladies who might be adorned alternately with dainty roses or with radishes and sugar snap peas. The two are looking forward to working together extensively in the future.

Since 1997, Ms. Gadbois has been planning weddings and private parties for clients all over the world. She also owns Five Speed Productions, which produces corporate events and charity fundraisers. She designs apparel, tableware and linens, stationery and interiors and is a trained floral designer. Her artistic background helps her to create spectacular and completely sensual environments for each and every event.

Nissa travels extensively to visit spectacular locations for events, meet with top international vendors and to discover new vendors. Travel also provides an endless source of inspiration for her design work.

Nissa has been profiled in Wedding Day Magazine (UK), and quoted by several media organizations, including Elegant Wedding Magazine, CNN Financial News, and Fox News, and is frequently consulted by companies such as Discovery Channels A Wedding Story", Harlequin Romance and

American Express Concierge Services. She is also available to give seminars on Sensual Entertaining worldwide.

Her advertisements have been seen in Elegant Wedding, Town and Country, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Wedding Day Magazine (UK), Cosmopolitan Bride (UK), and You and Your Wedding (UK).
