FREMONT, CA- (April 10, 2002) Celestix Networks, Inc., the premier developer of ready-to-deploy server appliance solutions, today introduced the Celestix Orion Security Appliance for small businesses, home/branch offices, telecommuters, and consumers. Orion is pre-licensed with security software developed by SofaWare Technologies, a Check Point affiliated company, and based on Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ: CHKP) market-leading VPN-1Ò/FireWall-1Ò software. The Celestix Orion provides world-class security and extraordinary ease-of-use at a breakthrough price point.

Within 5 minutes, even non-technical users can have their entire network secured by a robust VPN and firewall controlled by an intuitive Web interface. Orion protects the privacy of personal data, supports email anti-virus capabilities, and ensures the integrity of the PC. ·   The Orion with Safe@Office is priced at $599-$1199, provides site-to-site and remote access VPN connectivity for small businesses and branch offices, and protects 10 or 25 nodes.
