New service launched to help absent parents through the court process for contact applications

Consumers can now get easy access to advice about obtaining contact to their children on the internet

Pioneering legal services company Divorce-Online the company that introduced the concept of divorce on the net back in 2000 has now developed a package to help absent parents through the court process of making an application for contact to their children.

The Children Act LegalPac gives the potential applicant a completed suite of court documents to enable them to make the application to their local court and gives them a guide on the procedure they will face from meeting with the Court Welfare Officer to attending before judges. The service gives the applicant free access to advice on the court process and help with drafting statements, letters and asking for reports.

Mark Keenan the founder of Divorce-Online and the creator of the new service spent many years practising family law and in particular dealing with applications relating to children. I have spent the last 3 years developing the services I know people desperately need but can often not afford due to the high costs of hiring a Solicitor". This service gives consumers access to a self help service that not only ensures the paperwork they need is professionally prepared but that they can get advice on the proceedings as they progress through.

The majority of cases in my experience are settled as they progress through the court with the assistance of the court welfare officer and judges and at these stages there is very little law involved but there is a need for consumers to know what the procedures are going to be, who they are going to have to deal with and what sort of issues will be raised".

The Children Act LegalPac costs just 80.00 for the service, which is the average cost for just one hour of a junior Solicitors time.
