Tego Expands into Malls with General Growth Properties In-Building Wireless Agreement

Chicago, IL--April 10, 2002- Tego Communications, Inc., a premier provider of in-building wireless network services for major property owners, today announced an agreement with General Growth Properties (NYSE: GGP), to install in-building wireless communications systems in its mall facilities.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tego is installing a state-of-the-art in-building wireless system into various GGP properties. The neutral host system can support multiple wireless carriers, and will permit them to extend their coverage to the interior of the mall facility. The expanded coverage will mean enhanced wireless service for those visiting the GGP retail properties.

The agreement marks the expansion of Tego's in-building property portfolio. Tego has agreements in place with other major property owners throughout the USA.

The Tego in-building system is deployed throughout the facility. Tego will design, install, manage and own the systems. The infrastructure will support both voice and data applications as wireless telecom carriers come onto the deployment.
