Nexland Announces Positive Net Income for the 4th Quarter and Record 2001 Revenues
Company Releases Fourth Quarter and Year-End Results
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 2002--Nexland Inc. (OTCBB:XLND), a technology driven Internet security company whose Internet Protocol (IP) based networking appliances are installed at Enterprise branch and telecommuter offices worldwide, today reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2001.
Sales for fiscal year 2001 increased 177% to $4,080,170 from $1,472,950 in 2000. Gross Profit rose 179% to $2,061,847 from $738,586 in 2000 while Net Loss decreased 42% to $1,667,202 from $2,876,244. The Net Loss in 2001 includes non-cash charges of $1,023,746.
The Fourth Quarter 2001 was the first quarter in company history Nexland recorded positive Net Income. Sales were $1,805,151 with Gross Profit of $896,959 and a Net Profit of $42,723.
