OptiGlobe Selects Visionael for Network Resource Management: GMSI and Visionael Join Forces to Rapidly Deploy the Visionael Solution

Visionael Service Affiliate, Global Management Systems Incorporation (GMSI), a solutions provider of network services, systems design and integration, has implemented the Visionael NRM solution for OptiGlobe.
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- April 15, 2002 -- Visionael, a leading provider of service creation and inventory-based network resource management (NRM) software solutions, today announced that OptiGlobe, Latin America's premier provider of mission-critical IT outsourcing and data center services, has deployed Visionael to manage the network assets of its state-of-the-art, fifth-generation facilities in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Mexico City. Visionael Service Affiliate, Global Management Systems Incorporation (GMSI), a solutions provider of network services, systems design and integration, has implemented the Visionael NRM solution for OptiGlobe.
The Visionael solution helps develop and maintain a centralized repository of network inventory, configuration and change management information, giving network engineers a complete, real time view of all physical network elements, the circuits which overlay them and the services which are provisioned over them. OptiGlobe will use this centralized data for design and configuration change management, fault management and trouble management, ultimately increasing the level of service to its customers.
