BUSINESS LAYERS LAUNCHES WORLDWIDE SEARCH FOR MOST AUDACIOUS ROGUE PROVISIONING" STORIES

Enterprises Report Millions of Dollars in Lost Revenue and Productivity Through Missing Laptops, Cell Phones, Pagers and Passwords

ROCHELLE PARK, N.J., April 15, 2002 -- Business Layers, the eProvisioning CompanyTM, today announced the beginning of a campaign to find the most absurd, extraordinary and bizarre stories on the very real and costly hazards of provisioning and de-provisioning resources to employees. Every year millions of dollars are lost due to the misappropriation and misallocation of enterprise resources. Business Layers is rounding up tales and anecdotes of the most absurd provisioning stories on its web site at http://contest.businesslayers.com. The Provisioning Stories Roundup" campaign will run from April 15th to May 8th, 2002 and winning stories will receive valuable prizes.

Business Layers is interested in hearing from employees, employers, business partners, CIOs, CTOs, IT managers, consultants and ex-employees with anecdotes on their experiences with provisioning and de-provisioning resources, inappropriate or inefficient access to the network or comical stories about how employees are provisioned to without automated help.

"In our company, we have employees who have been dead for three years that still have network and email access."- IT Manager (prefers to remain anonymous)

Everyday we hear about frustrated new employees who are unable to gain access to passwords or the network for days or weeks because they 'arent in the system", said Sharon Tolpin, Business Layers Director of Corporate Communications. We also hear from IT managers, who complain about the thousands of dollars in laptops, cell phones and pagers that have walked away when their employees left the company. We are looking to raise awareness on the issues of provisioning, while shedding some light on the multi-million dollar problems in productivity and security caused by 'rogue provisioning."

Contest winners will be announced on May 15th at The Gartner Info Security Conference, in Chicago, Illinois and at www.contest.businesslayers.com.
