Listening to Solution Science Systems reveals them to be canny practitioners of an exciting post-punk, post-post-modern mutation of classic progressive rock -- a modern update of the power trio format. Their sound is shockingly accessible, and even hum-able, delivering the visceral excitement of great rock and roll, as well as layers of intricate rhythms and arrangements, not to mention understated humor.
Solution Science Systems features Andy Tegethoff (vocals/bass/keyboards), Kelly Shane (drums/percussion) and Rob MacGrogan (vocals/guitar).
Solution Science Systems is currently in the studio completing their debut CD, Daemon ex Machina, to be released Fall of 2002. A 4-song promotional CD, featuring versions of three songs that will appear on their forthcoming release, is available upon request. Full length MP3's of these songs as well as additional tracks are available online at www.SolutionScienceSystems.com.
