BOCA RATON, Fla.,--General Defense Systems, Inc.(OTC Pink Sheets: GNDF), a provider of
comprehensive security and remote surveillance solutions for agencies of the United States government, municipalities and private sector corporations and Graphco Technologies Inc. (G-TEC)(TM) today announced a strategic alliance
that will integrate Graphco's facial recognition system and voice recognition products into General Defense Systems' (GDS) security network. Graphco is an advanced technology and systems development company focused on being a leading
provider of secure access, biometric identification, surveillance and secure
data hosting solutions.
The strategic alliance agreement provides a framework for collaboration
between the companies to integrate their cutting-edge technologies and solutions to address current security requirements of their mutual customers.
"The combination of state-of-the-art facial recognition systems and large-scale digital video networks creates a powerful tool for GDS' port authority and airport security networks," states GDS CEO and President David Frank.
"Together, they will be offered as key components of security systems proposals submitted to the US Government for law enforcement, port security
and airport security systems."
GDS provides high-performance remote surveillance systems that will enable digital transmission of video images over terrestrial and/or wireless
broadband networks to FaceTrac(TM), Graphco's facial recognition system. The GDS network can also provide the transport to support VoicePass(R), Graphco's voice recognition system.
"The ability to integrate cutting-edge wireless digital video surveillance systems with speaker and facial recognition biometrics within a virtual
private network (VPN) for information sharing, allows GDS and GTEC to provide total solutions to corporate security professionals, law enforcement, and government entities," says GTEC President and COO Jerry Ruddle.
GDS is currently evaluating a number of new technologies that can be integrated into its security network design, enhancing overall effectiveness. "The addition of Graphco's FaceTrac and VoicePass, complemented by new high-
resolution imaging systems, will provide our customers with far-reaching security capabilities," says Frank.
