April 4, 2002 - Savannah. Enterprise Air, a leading provider of end-to-end mobile solutions, joined Police Central at their annual user group meeting to showcase enhanced core features and new mobile applications for law enforcement agencies. The annual gathering of Police Central customers provided an opportunity to view a broad new set of features based on an advanced web based core development engine. The Police Central law enforcement system is a nationally deployed system in use by local police departments, sheriffs offices, and federal agencies in more than 21 states.
Enterprise Airs Mobile MugShot application provides a critical real time link with officers in the field delivering arrest and warrant data, civil paper information, and latest mug shot data and images to officers in the field. The newly released facial recognition system performs rapid searches of large data bases and delivers alerts to wireless PDAs when facial matches are required to support the arrest and warrant process. In addition to cradle synchronization and real time wireless delivery of data and images, Enterprise Airs MobileEdge Client Server system allows applications to be accessed and updated offline in an integrated record management system. The system supports application deployment on commercial and industrial versions of Palm and PocketPC PDAs.
