Xengin to shift the CDN paradigm. ContentX, a Xengin product, outperforms all current CDN technology at a lower cost.

ContentX is a Content Delivery/Global Load Balancing product that solves the content delivery problem without costly services or equipment investment.

Xengin is pleased to announce the Q2 release of their ContentX product. ContentX is a Content Delivery/Global Load Balancing product that solves the content delivery problem without costly services or equipment investment. Using proprietary measurement algorithms, ContentX actually measures the performance from all web servers or cache engines to the end user to determine the best Internet path for each individual.

CDN service providers purchase thousands of high-end servers to create fast web services but ignore the underlying issues of Cost, Internet congestion and Blackholes. They must continue to spend millions of dollars to maintain their network of servers. While CDN service providers push content closer to the edge and combat the web problem by building up a costly infrastructure, Xengin understands that logical proximity is more important than physical location.

"Geography has very little to do with the actual performance of the Internet" says Michael Kleck, Chief Technical Officer and inventor of ContentX. "While CDN service providers are building large networks of overpowered servers that need to be maintained and upgraded continuously, ContentX provides companies with the ability to perform faster CDN service with as little as a three month return on investment. Continually paying for an over-priced solution makes little sense in this time of fiscal conservation."

While other content service providers take as long as two seconds to set up initial connections to the "optimized" content, ContentX provides this redirection in half a second. Other CDN devices use DNS proximity to optimize content delivery, but the assumption that DNS (Domain Name Service) location determines the actual location of the end user is incorrect. The location of a DNS server does not imply its users are on the same network. While an end user may be in New York, their DNS server could actualy be located in Chicago.

The ContentX solution provides the following features along with best Internet path selection:

ContentX is the only technology that offers real-time "web server-to-end user" network performance and availability.
Guarantees dynamic disaster recovery.
Hacked web sites will not be served to the end user.
Broken links will not be served to the end user.
Black holes and Internet congestion are dynamically avoided.
Can be configured by someone with a cursory knowledge of networking.
Once configured, it requires no ongoing input or manipulation.
Seemlessly integrates with all current CDN solutions.
Enhances the performance of existing CDN solutions.
Compatible with any TCP/IP device.
