Kenny Howes and the Yeah! is a critically acclaimed group from Atlanta, GA. The April 26th 10 High Club show in Atlanta marks the release of Tallboy Records Do Ya" E.P. -- a tribute to the Jeff Lynne song.

This show marks the release of Tallboy Records Do Ya" E.P. -- a tribute to the Jeff Lynne song. Do Ya" was originally done by Lynnes group The Move in 1972 and later became a hit when it was redone by his group The Electric Light Orchestra in 1977. The Do Ya" tribute is a 33 1/3 clear vinyl E.P. with four distinct versions of the song by Einstein's Sister, Parallax Project, Linus of Hollywood, and Kenny Howes and the Yeah! The E.P. is being released by Tallboy Records, a Washington, D.C. area label that specializes in power pop.
The version of Do Ya" by Kenny Howes and the Yeah! is a rocking update that is close to the original version by The Move. The track features multi-layered vocals as well as a heavy double-tracked percussion sound. Although I only got into The Move in the last couple of years, they have quickly become one of my favorite groups," said Howes, their beautiful melodies over a heavy, dirty rhythm section have been quite influential."
