New Web Site Offers Free Listings for Travel Businesses
Travel123Go.com is giving free listings to hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions and oher members of the hospitality industry.
The new web site will feature a library of professional-quality travel articles.
VANCOUVER - Hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions and other members of the hospitality industry are invited to list their businesses free on a new travel information web site. Travel123Go.com is designed as a one-stop travel information center, offering articles from an independent perspective.
The web site's content editor is Robert Scheer, a travel writer accredited by the Travel Media Association of Canada. "It's the quality of our articles that will set Travel 123 Go apart," Scheer said. "We're building an on-line library of stories that will appeal to a wide spectrum of readers -- including adventure travel, eco-tourism, backpacking, cruises, seniors, off-the-beaten-path, single women and even people interested in spiritual pilgrimages.
Although Travel123go.com is now under construction and scheduled to open July 1, 2002, travel businesses can go on-line now for a "sneak preview" that includes being able to post their listings in top positions.
In addition to free basic listings, businesses may also purchase Expanded and Preferred Listings. "The price structure for the paid listings is more than competitive," Scheer said. "We wanted to make them affordable to small "mom and pop" operators that often find themselves overshadowed by international, brand-name corporations.
