TenXpert Announces 73GB Cache Availability

TenXpert Technologies develops support for larger cach disk in the TenXpert Network CD/DVD Server. Customers will experience increase performance, as more files, or entire CDs and DVDs, may be cache to the hard drive.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) April 20, 2002 --- TenXpert Technologies Inc., Austin, TX, today announced the release of the latest firmware update for the TenXpert CD/DVD Network Server. This firmware version increases the TenXpert CD/DVD Servers hard disk caching capacity to 73 Gigabytes. This greater capacity will give users the ability to mirror over 100 full CDs, or 24 DVD images, allowing quickest access to critical information. This additional capacity, when configured in a TenXpert Server-integrated CD or DVD Drive Tower, outperforms some of the smaller jukeboxes by eliminating the robotic disk-swapping functions. When paired with a jukebox, the TenXpert CD/DVD Network Server automatically caches CD/DVD data to reduce the need for repetitive robotics movement and disk swapping, thereby speeding delivery of files and extending jukebox life.

TenXpert Servers now support DOS, Win 3.x, Win 9x, WinNT, Win2K, WinME, WinXP, O/S-2, Novell NetWare, and UNIX clients. Over 1100 simultaneous PC users may access 6 to over 600 CDs and/or DVDs in Drive Towers or Jukeboxes on any single, or multi-platform network. Complete, network-ready systems start at $2,590.
