FACTS Training Features Aircrew Combative Training For Aviation
FACTS Training announces new and expanded emergency procedures training programs to include training specific to Homeland Defense and personal security aboard aircraft.
Incorporating close quarters combat and security training geared to todayÕs aviation security challenges, FACTS Training International has announced its expanded 2002 training schedule for professional corporate flight crews and executive frequent flyers.
The new, one-day Aircrew Combative Training (ACT) program was developed in response to the aviation industryÕs demands for a simple system to overcome, subdue, and neutralize threats against the crew, both inflight and on the ground. The ACT system is easy to learn, simple to execute, easily retained and proven effective in close quarters confrontations.
Considered the worldÕs largest emergency procedures training company for corporate and charter aviation, FACTS utilizes full-size, full-motion, mobile, cockpit and cabin simulators for corporate aircraft and executive helicopters. The FACTS simulators provide a ÒrealÓ aircraft environment to practice lifesaving, survival and security skills. FACTS has brought close quarters combative skills together with the FAA required emergency procedures training in the FACTS simulators.
Doug Mykol, President of FACTS Training says, ÒOur mission is to provide the corporate and charter aviation industry with the knowledge, practical skills, self-confidence, and the emergency equipment to save lives in almost any emergency situation. This yearÕs curriculum is the most relevant to the contemporary environment we have offered.Ó
