DigitalCandle, Inc. today announced it has reached an agreement to purchase Go!Zilla software and its assets, including the Go!Zilla Search Engine, from Mountain View, Cal.-based Radiate, Inc. With more than 30 million worldwide installations, Go!Zilla is the most popular Internet download management software. The Go!Zilla Search Engine is used more than 100,000 times daily. DigitalCandle provides payment processing and marketing services for software developers who distribute their applications over the Internet through the shareware model. Along with recently announcing plans to acquire Rocket Download, DigitalCandle plans on using the purchase of Go!Zilla to expand its customer services.

It is estimates that the acquisition will be finalized and ownership of Go!Zilla transferred to DigitalCandle within 30 days.
