International Wireless, Inc. announced that it has entered into a contract to license its unique CodePoint visual symbol decoding technology to Creditel, an emerging leader in turnkey wireless business services.

(OTCBB:IWIN) announced today that it has entered into a contract to license its unique CodePoint visual symbol decoding technology to Creditel, an emerging leader in turnkey wireless business services. CodePoint will be integrated into the Creditel PowerSwipe, a sleek, rugged device that attaches to a standard Internet enabled mobile phone and fits in the palm of your hand. The combination device, expected to ship in Q3, will empower businesses of all sizes to remotely read 1D and 2D barcodes as well as authorize credit card and check payments in the field from a single device. The combination of CodePoint software, which uses a digital camera to read barcodes, and the PowerSwipe device is expected to dramatically reduce the cost of portable barcode readers as compared to traditional laser scanners.
