Worthy Wage Day In Philadelphia PA on May 1, 2002

Childcare providers are mourning the closing of school programs that had to close because of state and city funding.

On May 1, 2002, childcare providers, teachers, parents, and children will meet in Malcolm X Park, at 52nd and Pine Streets,in Wset Philadelphia PA.. We will be there from 10am - 1:30pm. e will have information on how we can save our school programs. We also will have food activities, and a free raffle for the public. We are asking everyone to help support the childcare community by sending donations to Proider To Provder Initiative. Provider To Provider is a community organization committed to service the childcare community on issues and resources concerning childcare workers for free. Donations can be mailed to 5409 Addison Street , Philaadelphia, PA 19143. We will also pick up any donations of juice, snacks, hotdogs, rolls, black tee shirts in children's size 2-18yrs., and items for grilling.Please feelfree t call 215)748-5996 for more information.
