Pikulin Named Senior VP Sales and Operations Voltaix, Inc.

Michael Pikulin succeeds Thomas Pletzke as Voltaix, Inc. Senior Vice President, Sales & Operations.

Voltaix, Inc., a leading manufacturer of chemicals and gases for the semiconductor and photovoltaics industries, today announced that Michael A. Pikulin will succeed Thomas Pletzke as Senior Vice President, Sales and Operations. Mr. Pletzke who joined the company in 1997, and took over responsibility for its manufacturing and operations in 1999 will remain on the Voltaix, Inc. Board and continue to work on special projects.

"Tom provided key leadership in the development of Voltaix and the Voltaix team," said John P. de Neufville, President and C.E.O. "We will miss his participation in daily operations but look forward to his ongoing work on special projects and presence on the Board, " he continued.

Michael Pikulin who succeeds Mr. Pletzke joined Voltaix in 1998 and has been serving as chairman of the company's Management Committee since November 2001. Author of eighteen US Patents, Mr. Pikulin was a long-time employee of American Cyanamid and Union Camp Corporations. He previously was Voltaix, Inc. Vice President, Engineering and Technology.
