Rockville, MD -- Business Wire -- April 23, 2002 --WorldTeq Group International Inc. (OTC BB: WTEQ) a full-service solutions provider of Affinity Services including Internet Connectivity, Long Distance, Calling Cards, and Hosting Services, today announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2002.
WorldTeq Group International is pleased to announce revenue growth of 46% for the first quarter 2002 compared to the same period last year. The Company realized $1,152,000 in revenues during the first quarter 2002 compared to $788,323 realized during the comparable period last year. Cost of Sales decreased as a percentage of revenue to 50% of sales compared to 55% of sales during the same period in 2001. General and administrative expenses decreased 21% to 381,270 from $462,217 for the comparable period. During the period ended March 31, 2002, the company achieved a net profit of $79,332 or $ .01 per share as compared to a net loss of $(173,595) or $ (.02) during the same quarter last year. This is the first quarter the company has achieved a net profit. Earnings before Interest, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) was $109,387. Positive cash flow for the quarter was $77,532.
