BRISBANE, Australia -- 16 April 2002 -- Ephox have been proclaimed a winner at this years Consensus Software Awards. Now in its third year, the Consensus Software Awards aim to present Australia's finest software developers to the world. This year, 30 nominations came from a range of established software developers and newcomers to the software development scene.
Ephox successfully submitted EditLive! - the companys browser-based content authoring tool which enables end users to contribute content to web-based enterprise applications such as web content management systems, customer relationship management systems, call centers and human resource management systems. A citation from the judging panel stated Ephox are well-established in the global market for Web content management -- great positioning for an Australian company and recognition of a strong product offering. We liked the ease of use delivered from an easily-recognised interface, and, the close interaction with Microsoft Word. The early adoption of emerging open standards convinced us that this company is committed to leading the way in their chosen market."
