Omgeo CTM is a new central matching solution for domestic as well as cross-border trades worldwide, also providing real-time settlement instruction enrichment and settlement notification messaging. It incorporates industry Codes of Practice and local market standards to promote data integrity and streamline settlement. Though it runs on an entirely new XML-based, 15022-compliant TCP/IP platform, Omgeo CTM provides a bridge to the companys ETC service Omgeo OASYS GlobalSM, which it will eventually replace, enabling early adopting investment managers to immediately process their global trades through Omgeo CTM with any broker currently using OASYS Global, rather than with only those brokers that have also moved directly to the new central matching platform.
The Omgeo CTM Early Adopter program is a planned product rollout and migration strategy that was launched in January 2002 as a way to upgrade clients ready to take the lead in transitioning to Omgeos new workflow-oriented trade management solution. As part of the Early Adopters Program, firms that decide to use Omgeo CTM can lock-in 2002 pricing that is comparable to current pricing for Omgeos existing OASYS Global service while gaining the added flexibility and functionality inherent in Omgeo CTMs exception-processing oriented streamlined workflow environment. The Early Adopters Program is expected to terminate in June 2002.
Currently being implemented by Early Adopters, Omgeo CTM is expected to have live users in by the end of Q2 2002.
