FORT WORTH, Texas (April 29, 2002) - Fort Worth businesswoman Martha Granger has launched GT Ground Solutions, a ground support equipment company specializing in the sale and distribution of equipment for airports and airlines.

Through GT Ground Solutions, Granger will target airlines, airports and aviation service companies, offering environmentally conscious and energy efficient ground handling equipment. Initially Granger will market electric tow tractors and bag tractors, but will expand into other products. The successful businesswoman is currently negotiating international product contracts.

"My goal is to become a niche player, focusing on offering high-quality specialized equipment, products and customer service," Granger said. "There's a need for strong personalized customer service in this industry, and GT Ground Solutions fills that need. The culture is similar to the oil industry, where I have extensive experience. I'm able to apply my engineering background and business background in this company to serve one of our most vital industries."

Granger has a degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Texas Christian University. Previously Granger worked as an engineer for Union Pacific Resources Co. and BP Exploration Inc. Additionally she is vice president of Fort Worth-based Granger Real Estate LLC.

Granger is a Laredo native and plans to use her Spanish language skills to market into Mexico and Latin America.
