13 YEAR OLD RECIEVES A NEW HEART

Kitty Ortiz-Deleon was born with a severe Congential Heart Defect. On October 24, 2001, she received her new heart, now the next hurdle is the high cost of monthly medications ranging from $600 - $1,000.

Catrice 'Kitty' Ortiz-Deleon is the K.O.D Foundation's current featured transplant recipient. Her family owes $100,000 in Medical Cost which does not include the month anti-rejection medications and treatments.

A local band 'Loose Theory' is sponsoring a benefit performance on May 25, 2002. The event will be held at the Private 'I', 2507 Thomas Lane, Augusta, GA 30909, 706-793-9444.
