New schools Drug Education Programme now available in US, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

After 2 years of research, approval by Europes largest Police Force and support from Government the "What's the Score" drug education project is ready for schools. The project,which originally started out in Scotland,has now been adopted for Irish Schools. The project was viewed by Federal Authorities in the US last week. Regarded as one of the best drugs education projects around the packs are to be made available for all schools covering ages 5 right up 18.

The Rowantree Group, which specialises in Government project management contracts has announce the release of the "What's the Score" drug education resource for Teachers.

The packs are to be launched at a special reduced price following the successful sponsorship agreements from major sponsors.

The resource which will be available in both Text/Video and CD format has been praised by teachers in several countries as the best of it's type.
The project was written by a large group of teachers and Police Officers funded by Central Government and supported by three Universities and Europes Largest Police Force. The project covered two years of research into the topics of drugs, solvents, smoking and alcool. The packs are intended to give all teachers the best information available to teach about the topics.
Channel 4, Granada and Carlton Television videos as well as material from Cancer Research are included.

John O'Meara the Chief Executive of Rowantree attended a briefing at the White House last week where Federal Officers examined the material.
The pack has also been piloted in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
Schools in Ireland will shortly be starting to use the packs.
