Research over the past decade has revealed that ion channels have therapeutic potential in a number of diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, neuropathic pain, sickle cell disease, and many others. The meeting, divided into three discrete sections, 1) automated electrophysiology, 2) emerging targets & pharmacology, 3) preclinical & clinical development of Ion Channel compounds, will feature the top researchers pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic scientists revealing their newest findings.
