Upon news of a family in need, GlamKitty will be giving 20% of sales to this familys trust fund. Not 20% of the profits, 20% of sales.
Connie and Paul adopted two Romanian orphans. Both of these children have suffered unspeakable horrors, and as a result have special needs and emotional problems. Despite their rough starts, the two chldren had been doing fine, due in part to the wonderful actions of their adoptive parents and the special schooling they have received.
Nick, at 16, has even started his own foundation Orphancare-Everywhere, to help the street orphans of his birth country!
But now daughter Liana is in trouble.
Liana, a Romanian orphan who, "at age 2 years and perhaps younger was locked into an attic and systematically tortured and abused in ALL unspeakable manner, including sexually. This went on for 2 1/2 years as I understand it." says Joan Bramsch, Author and owner of EmpoweredParent.com.
Liana's need for an excellent residential care facility now takes precedence over Nick's educational needs.
How does a parent decide which child shall receive?
"GlamKitty is hoping custmer sales this month will help this family be able to help both their children, to not have to choose" said Deanna Ferber, President of GlamKitty. "This is our way of helping a family who has done so much. It is proof that beauty is not just skin deep" she continued.
