Aaron Sharp, a 17-year old high school senior is capturing the attention of major International Film Festivals across the country with his directorial debut film, "THAT'S THAT."

On Academy Award Nomination
May 8, 2002 -- One of L. A.s youngest directors ever, is capturing the attention of major International Film Festivals across the country.
A 17-year old senior at Kennedy High School, Aaron Sharp, directed his first film called, THAT'S THAT," as a tool to apply to film school. The film stars his dog, and his little brother. Now according to independent film critics, the high school senior may be on his way to an Academy Award Nomination.
The first-time director has already been snatched up by the Chapman University School of Film and Television and will attend there this fall on a Deans Scholarship. Five International Film Festivals have invited Aaron and his family to premier his film short and compete with other independent films.
In just a few weeks, Aaron will take his film to prestigious Nashville International Film Festival where winners often become Academy Award nominees.
