The new in2 internet incubator is open to individuals or teams, wishing to establish an internet related business" says Harry Stott, in2 Project Director. Alternatively, a business may be in the early stages of trading, but needs technical or commercial support to drive it forward."

Whatever the position, the in2 incubator team, from the University of Warwick Science Park, aim to use their commercial experience to help determined people build and develop sustainable businesses.

Incubatees can look forward to virtually unlimited access to the team of business mentors. Many people consider the technology to be the real challenge in setting up an internet related business, but equally important is the requirement to establish a sound business proposition and a clear plan of action of how profit will be delivered" states Russell Munslow, in2 Project Manager. Thats the strength of in2 -- maintaining focus on key business issues." Furthermore, the in2 team will be supported by a network of technical and professional organisations allowing incubatees to draw upon an additional pool of expertise.

The in2 team recognise the need to provide a base of operation for both embryonic businesses and perhaps those who may be already trading from home. Supported by the DTIs Internet Incubator Fund, in2 provides heavily subsidised presence on the Science Park, complete with broadband internet access.

As Harry Stott adds, Start-up and early stage businesses need to quickly establish credibility. Thats what association with the University of Warwick Science Park can provide."
