New York, NY-DoubleYolks Inc. a New York-based design group launches Miss2Mrs.com -- a site introducing visitors to their customized wedding websites and services. Partners Jessica Lim and Yah-Leng Yu plan to revolutionize the wedding market by offering custom-designed and developed wedding websites, through their sub-brand aptly named Miss2Mrs.com. Their recent projects include a stunning website for a couple planning to wed in India this summer: www.alokandarsheya.com.
Wedding websites merge tradition with technology. Valuable information about a couples wedding -- ceremony and reception information, travel information for guests, contact information, etc. -- can be made available via the web. Optional items include guest books, message boards, online R.S.V.P, attire recommendations, an online gift registry and photo gallery.
The launch of a wedding website is timed to coincide with the mailing of save-the-date cards, which DoubleYolks also offers in both print and email formats. Its important to establish a theme, whether it be colors, a pattern or something more intricate. The save-the-date cards include the web address and establish the initial 'look chosen by the couple. The website reiterates this look." The website collects guests e-mail addresses through a guest book, making it easy for the couple to update the entire guestlist online.
With agency experience producing websites for fashion clients such as Versace, Oscar de la Renta and Frédéric Fekkai, Jessica Lim understands the importance of meeting the standards of discerning customers. Weddings involve tons of planning and the Internet is really a smart and effective way to get all that important information in one place. And unlike print, the web is malleable, easily accommodating changes and updates."
Traditionally, the quality of wedding printed materials is high and personalized, and we feel it should be the same for wedding websites," says Creative Director Yah-Leng Yu. There are companies that offer template-driven wedding websites, but they are generic and lack elegance. Our professional designers care a great deal about creating websites that are well-designed and unique.
DoubleYolks aims to reach a global audience through its Miss2Mrs.com service. They are currently translating the Miss2Mrs.com website into Japanese and Korean.
