VM RESOURCES Announces the Assembler Project
New computer consulting offering for mainframe assembler programmers.
May 7, 2002--VM RESOURCES announces the availability of the
Assembler Project, a consulting and systems integration offering.
The Assembler Project is primarily designed to provide assembler
programming skills to s/390 mainframe customers. According to
VM RESOURCES President David Kreuter, the Assembler Project
consists of a team of highly skilled and experienced assembler language
specialists that are versatile in the s/390 Operating systems z/OS, VM,
and VSE.
"Customers that are using applications with legacy s/390 Assembler
routines will be able to tap into our professional services," Kreuter said,
"and make support easier to manage." He also stated that assembler
customers are prevalent in the financial services sector, independent
software vendors, public sector and academic environments.
Concerning the timing of the Assembler Project, Kreuter commented,
"We are responding to the immediate need in the IBM mainframe arena
for skilled resources in assembler. For most organizations the mainframe
is often the hardest area to satisfy skills requirements, especially in the
area of assembler programming for development and maintenance projects."
