8 and 10 year old dancers steal show at April 14th "Uplifting Minds II" Talent Competition

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Eight- and Ten-Year-Old Dancers Steal the Show at the
April 14th Uplifting Minds II Talent Competition

(Baltimore, Maryland) Ten-year-old Joshua Wheeler and eight-year-old Hollywood, who performed in the dance category of the April 14th "Uplifting Minds II" Talent Competition, stole the show. Joshua did a Michael Jackson routine dressed in white suite, tie and hat, while Hollywood did a variety of hip-hop dances. Both performances had the panel of judges, literally, on their feet. Both tied in scores, and walked away as grand prize winners of the dance category.

Brian J. Best won the literature category with a short story titled "Untouchable;" Mil and AK (R&B/Rap) won grand prize for the music category with rapper Shy-Wu as first runner up and Melanie Polote was the song-writing winner.

"What do I do about my album being shelved," one audience member asked the
panel. Entertainment attorney John P. Kellogg replied, "Thatıs why one of the first things you do is get a good lawyer. Provisions could have been put in your contract that would make sure that doesnıt happen."

"I want that song writer," "Get that dancers number," and "Now you know I want him," were some of the comments of Mathew Knowles, manager of Destinyıs
Child. Mathew walked away interested in signing a song writer (Melanie Polote), a male rapper (Raymond Jefferson) and two dancers (Joshua Wheeler and Hollywood). He wasn't the only panelist interest in the talent displayed, talent scouts from other labels such as Dreamworks and Def Jam South were in attendance.

Panelists who attended were Knowles, Troy Patterson (president of 3rd Street
management for Ruff Endz/Epic Records and Mario/J Records); Kevin Peck, John
P. Kellogg, Esq. (entertainment attorney for Gerald LaVert); Barkue Tubman (Family
Tree Entertainment, management company for OutKast, Donell Jones and Jagged

Editor of Sister 2 Sister);Vanessa Williams, Esq. (entertainment attorney, sports
scout and V.P. of Big Play Records) and ShaRhonda Wilson (president of
Ultimate Productions).
