Fagliarone Group CPAs Celebrates 30th Anniversary With Day of Caring"

SYRACUSE, N.Y., May 7, 2002 -- Fagliarone Group CPAs is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with a firm-wide, day-long employee Day of Caring on Thursday May 16, 2002 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Highland Forest in Fabius, NY. The Day of Caring will bring over 50 Fagliarone Group CPAs employees from the firms Syracuse, Auburn, Utica and Oswego offices together to give back to the community that has contributed to the growth and success of the firm over the past 30 years.

SYRACUSE, N.Y., May 7, 2002 -- Fagliarone Group CPAs is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with a firm-wide, day-long employee Day of Caring on Thursday May 16, 2002 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Highland Forest in Fabius, NY. The Day of Caring will bring over 50 Fagliarone Group CPAs employees from the firms Syracuse, Auburn, Utica and Oswego offices together to give back to the community that has contributed to the growth and success of the firm over the past 30 years.

Teams of employees from Fagliarone Group CPAs will be working on various projects at the Onondaga County Parks Highland Forest facility. Projects will include marking and clearing trails, as well as repairing, cleaning and painting a building on the property. The project was coordinated by the United Way of Central New York after the firm approached the United Way with the idea to celebrate its anniversary through community volunteerism.

On behalf of all the principals at Fagliarone Group CPAs, were excited at the opportunity to give back to the community in which we live and work, the community that has made the firm the success that it is," said Donald Taylor, CPA, President of Fagliarone Group CPAs. We also wanted to reap the benefits of team-building and camaraderie among the employees from our different offices by bringing all our folks together in a roll-up-your sleeves but fun experience. We think the projects at Highland Forest will provide the perfect venue to achieve all our objectives. And what better time of year to enjoy Central New York and get out of the office than in the spring," said Taylor.

The firm is closing its offices on May 16 so that all employees can participate in the Day of Caring. The firm is also providing a catered lunch to its employees at the site, in appreciation for all their efforts.

Fagliarone Group CPAs was founded in 1972 by Robert Fagliarone, CPA. The firm moved to its current Syracuse location at 650 James Street (the former National Grange building) in 1985. In 1989, the Syracuse firm purchased the established Auburn firm of Bowen, Lyons and Pine at 198 Genesee Street. In 1992, the firm merged picked up its Oswego practice through a merger with Saroney and McGraw. In 1996, after realizing steady growth of a client base in the Mohawk Valley, the firm started a Utica office. The Utica branch recently relocated to 555 French Road in New Hartford earlier this year.

In addition to the Day of Caring, the firm is planning several other employee and client events throughout the year to celebrate its anniversary.

If weather does not cooperate on May 16, an alternate rain date of May 23, 2002 has been planned for the firms Day of Caring.
