Get Goofy with Shakespeare by the Seas Stand Up Little Fish -- A Shakespeare by the Sea Benefit Comedy Night

Come one, come all to Stand Up Little Fish, a night of sidesplitting, hilariously funny stand-up comedians. East coast comic Johnny Watson headlines this benefit evening for Shakespeare by the Sea -- all proceeds go to support free outdoor Shakespeare in San Pedro and beyond. The show plays on Friday, May 31st at 8pm at the Brown Bros. Bldg. (455 6th St., San Pedro, CA, 90731).

Join MC Tony Lani, who has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as featuring guests Charles Hueston and Laura Dedona start off the evening. Both Hueston and Dedona have performed at The Comedy Store and The Ice House, as well as other comedy clubs in the Los Angeles area.

Headliner Watson has performed in television, film and theater productions, including Good Morning America, and has recently signed on as the headlining comedian for Radisson Seven Seas Cruise Lines. Watson is currently on tour and has also played at comedy clubs across the country, including Stand Up New York, The Comic Strip, Uncle Funnys in Davy, Florida and The Comedy Caravan in Louisville, KT.

This season marks the 5th anniversary of Shakespeare by the Sea. This summer take in a double-shot of the Bard with Much Ado About Nothing and Macbeth. Beginning Thursday, June 20th at 8pm, these two timeless tales play in repertory for five weeks at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro and then tour the surrounding beach cities for four weeks. Shakespeare by the Sea is sure to delight your senses and spark your imagination with their highly accessible, family friendly, always free productions.
