United Support Systems (US2) Appoints John Berik as CEO

Executive To Launch Leading Edge Convergent Billing Technology

McLean, Virginia, May 8, 2002 - US2, a leading provider of outsourced and managed customer care & billing solutions and services for carriers, operators, and service providers, announced today that John Berik has been appointed chief executive officer.

Mr. Berik will immediately oversee all aspects of the companys strategic positioning, sales, and operations. Mr. Berik will lead the launch of US2's next generation convergent billing solutions and guide US2 into a sustained growth phase by increasing market share via increased product and service offerings to current clients and new strategic alliances in the US and abroad.

Previously, Mr. Berik served in executive management and ownership positions in several profitable private and public businesses. Most recently he was the managing director of Acies, Inc., a global provider of professional services and business solutions to the communications and utilities sectors. Mr. Berik retains board seats and ownership positions in several privately held companies.
