NYSSCPA Syracuse Chapter Elects 2002-2003 Slate of Officers

SYRACUSE, N.Y., June 1, 2002 -- The Syracuse Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) has elected officers for the 2002-2003 term. Donald R. Taylor, CPA, a principal with Fagliarone Group CPAs, was elected President. Other officers for the year include: Roger J. Beer, CPA, partner with Green & Seifter CPAs was elected President-Elect; Lauren L. Kincaid, CPA, a senior manager with Firley, Moran, Freer & Eassa CPA was elected Vice-President.; Michele Dickey, CPA, a Tax Manager with Fagliarone Group CPAs was elected Secretary; and Gail Kinsella, CPA, a partner with Testone, Marshall & Discenza was elected Treasurer.

Taylor, CPA, a principal with Fagliarone Group CPAs, was elected President. Other officers for the year include: Roger J. Kincaid, CPA, a senior manager with Firley, Moran, Freer & Eassa CPA was elected Vice-President.; Michele Dickey, CPA, a Tax Manager with Fagliarone Group CPAs was elected Secretary; and Gail Kinsella, CPA, a partner with Testone, Marshall & Discenza was elected Treasurer.

Donald R. Taylor, of Baldwinsville, has been a member of NYSSCPA since 1984. As a principal with Fagliarone Group CPAs, he specializes in audits of financial services organizations including community banks and securities brokers-dealers. He is experienced in consulting engagements including internal audit outsourcing, loan review, establishment and review of internal systems and controls, assistance in regulatory and compliance matters and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.

Prior to joining Fagliarone Group CPAs in 1987, Taylor spent five years with Coopers and Lybrand and nine years in financial management for a private wholesale company. He is a graduate of LeMoyne College and is an associate member of the Independent Bankers Association of New York State. He also serves as accountant team chair for the United Way of Central New York. He and his wife, Julie, have two grown sons.
