Transcend Announces PC800-40ns RIMMs for the Latest Intel 850E Systems

Transcend announces PC800-40ns RIMMs for the latest Intel i850E chipsets. These RIMMs with 800MHz Direct Rambus and 40 nanosecond (ns) core access time support the Intel D850EMD2 and D850EMV2 system platforms, and are backward compatible with systems using the i850 and i860 chipsets. 256MB PC1066MHz-32ns RIMMs are also available.

A new series of RIMMs from Transcend with 800MHz Direct Rambus and 40 nanosecond (ns) core access time support the Intel D850EMD2 and D850EMV2 system platforms based on the i850E chipset. This series of memory modules are available with or without Error Checking and Correction (ECC), and are backward compatible with systems using the i850 and i860 chipsets.
