EARTHQUAKE! Memorial Day Tragedy Predicted

Sept 11, the troubled Middle East and promises of terror here are all omens of apocalyptic events that focus in "the day of the Lord." The Bible says, "the day of the Lord" is like 1,000 years, but TIME Mag shows 6,000 is up--"Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn [line up with the sun and moon--the first time in 6,000 years." This is like the hour-hand on God's clock.

Apison, Tennessee -- This Memorial Day, the first after 9/11, will be more than a day of honoring war heroes and enjoying the first barbecue and picnics of the summer. It is likely to be a day of tragedy as tens of thousands of families have their world shattered by an earthquake registering seven or more on the Richter scale.

Richard Ruhling, a physician trained in internal medicine, predicts the earthquake will occur in the U.S., and possibly worldwide, and that it will herald "the day of the Lord," the apocalyptic period referred to by the ancient prophets. It will be followed by seven years of bad times and may be preceded on Thursday, May 23, by a warning event of less significance.

Ruhling, a Bible scholar, is the author of the new book, The Bridegroom Comes! He is available for interviews on the significance of the earthquake and how Scripture can explain many current events in America.

He invites interested reporters to visit his web page, www.choosinglife.net, or to phone him in Tennessee at 423-396-9910. He can be emailed at Ruhling2@juno.com.
