Chris Halliwell joins Bill Wilson Center Board
Chris Halliwell, an independent consultant providing business-to-business strategic marketing services, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Bill Wilson Center, a non-profit agency that serves youth and their families through counseling, housing, education and advocacy. Ms. Halliwells experience in sales and marketing will play a key roll in building stronger relationships in the community while further developing the financial strength of Bill Wilson Center.
Chris Halliwell, an independent consultant providing business-to-business strategic marketing services, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Bill Wilson Center, a non-profit agency that serves youth and their families through counseling, housing, education and advocacy. Ms. Halliwells experience in sales and marketing will play a key roll in building stronger relationships in the community while further developing the financial strength of Bill Wilson Center.
I have personally witnessed how important it is to have resources available to youth who are facing difficult times in their lives," said Ms. Halliwell. My goal is to expand the number of funding sources available to Bill Wilson Center and to increase awareness of the services the agency offers."

Before starting her business as an independent consultant, Ms. Halliwell was a managing partner with Regis McKenna, Inc., where she led the networking and semiconductor partners and practice groups. In her consulting business, Ms. Halliwell mentors several new technology companies. Ms. Halliwell also is as an instructor for the executive learning programs of the Caltech Industrial Relations Center and the Caltech Entrepreneurial Fellowship program. Her degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles, include a Master's in Information Services, and a Master's of Business Administration in Marketing.
Bill Wilson Center is a non-profit, community-based agency located in Santa Clara, and has been providing services to the Santa Clara County community since 1973. Each year Bill Wilson Center serves over 7,000 clients through eleven different programs focused primarily towards youth. Bill Wilson Centers mission is to support and strengthen the community by serving youth and families, through counseling, housing, education and advocacy by offering the following programs: Family and Individual Counseling Center, Homeless Youth Drop-in Center, Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter, Independent Living Skills Program, Transitional Housing Program, School Outreach Counseling, HIV Prevention/Health Education Program, Quetzal House, Safe Place and Project Action.
