COCONUT CREEK SOCCER CLUB NAMES NEW DIRECTOR OF COACHING FOR 2002-2003 SEASON
The Coconut Creek Soccer Club is pleased to announce that Ken McEwan has been named Director of Coaching for the 2002-2003 season. After an extensive search that lasted several months, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to offer McEwan the position. The newly created position reaffirms the Club's comittment to providing its players with the most highly qualified coaches in South Florida.
Ken McEwan brings over 20 years of highly successful coaching experience to Coconut Creek Soccer, with a career record of 170-53-20. Ken currently holds a USSF "D" coaching license and is the head coach at Highlands Christian Academy in Deerfield Beach, where he has led teams to 9 consecutive high school regional championship games. Some of Ken's other accomplishments include:

Steve Anderson, President of the Coconut Creek Soccer Club says, "Ken's vast experience will raise our club to the next level". Extensive coaching training, in the form of both classroom seminars and field training, is planned for the new season. "Our Club", says Lee Kaplan, V.P. Coaches, "is committed to providing our coaches the finest training in South FLorida. This will ensure our players receive the best coaching in the area, on both an instructional and competitive level".
The Coconut Creek Soccer Club is a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing the youth of South Florida the finest soccer leagues, both at the recreational and competitve levels.
