Rebuild the World Trade Center Twin Towers! says Policy Analyst/Internet-radio talk show host Andy Martin

Internet-radio talk show host and former WTC tenant Andy Martin is asking New York and federal authorities to rebuild the World Trade Center Twin Towers "as is," all 110 stories, and not to succumb to fear

"REBUILD WORLD TRADE CENTER TWIN TOWERS" DEMANDS BROADCASTER ANDY MARTIN IN DRIVE TO RECONSTRUCT TWIN TOWERS "AS IS"

"ANDY MARTIN'S AMERICA," A NEW DAILY INTERNET FORUM LAUNCHES MEMORIAL DAY, MAY 27TH WITH SPECIAL WORLD TRADE CENTER REBUILDING
PROGRAM

(NEW YORK) Internet Broadcaster Andy Martin will present a special Memorial Day radio/Internet forum Monday, May 27th at 1:00 P.M. to announce he is launching a drive to rebuild New York City's World Trade Center Twin Towers "as is."

"Don't let the terrorists win," Martin says of efforts to obliterate the WTC site. Martin plans to file with New York City authorities (Lower Manhattan Redevelopment Corporation) a petition Tuesday, May 28th seeking to rebuild the WTC "as is."

Martin's special "Rebuild the Twin Towers" program launches his new Internet forum, "Andy Martin's America," which will be presented daily over the Internet and as part of Martin's international radio broadcasts.

"I loved those huge buildings. I was one of the first tenants at Two WTC and spent many years there," says Martin. "My old office disappeared on 9/11. New York liberals want to obliterate the WTC site and make it into a 'memorial' and series of low-rise buildings.

"I despair of people demanding elaborate 'memorials' every time some madman kills. Memorializing the WTC victims should not mean killing the economic heart of the city, or being terrified to build tall buildings.

"The only true memorial to the WTC dead would be to rebuild the twin towers virtually 'as is,' all 110 stories.

"There are important policy reasons to rebuild the WTC 'as is.' First, all across America, Americans want the WTC rebuilt. It was not the WTC that was attacked; it was all of us. To change the skyline of America in response to terrorism is to let the terrorists win.

"Second, additional federal funding is available for reconstruction which is not available for new construction.

"Third, the original plans for the WTC are readily available. With some updating, construction could start virtually immediately.

"Finally, the current impasse over what to build can only be broken with a bold decision to 'Rebuild the Twin Towers!"

Martin's controversial programs have become the fulcrum of foreign policy and political analysis on the Internet. He is a respected voice in America's intelligence community. He has traveled through the Middle East; his foreign experience also includes Europe, Iran and Asia. Martin has been an adjunct professor of law at the City University of New York, is a Washington foreign policy consultant in the areas of military security and intelligence and was an assistant to U.S. Senator Paul H. Douglas.

Martin's radio program (WPBR-AM, West Palm Beach) covers Florida issues from noon-1 P.M. and national/foreign policy from 1-2 P.M. Radio call-in (561) 641-8256, (800) 810-9727. Internet radio website: 1340wpbr.com (click "on air").
