Named "dAaZ" (the spelling reads "from A to Z" in portuguese), the portal is built by the community bottom up instead of a top-down media group approach.

The site and content creation can be done without any knowledge of HTML, programming languages or other technical issues.

RVTI is a portuguese company whose web expertise has been requested and applied by some of the countries largest portals, namely http:/http://www.netc.pt/ beloging to Vodafone/Vizzavi and http://www.oniportal.pt/ property of Oni. RVTI has been recently acquired back from Oni by the original founders which include Mario Valente, founder of the first portuguese ISP.
