Reactive Web Design Inc. Forms Strategic Alliance with Hollywood Script Research, Proving to be Another Happy Hollywood Ending, or Shall We Say Beginning.
Reactive Web Design Inc.teams up with Hollywood Script Research (HSR) to create an indie friendly legal and new media package.
Los Angeles- May 28, 2002,- Reactive Web Design Inc., (RWD) has announced this morning the details of a strategic alliance with Los Angeles based script research firm, Hollywood Script Research (HSR). The two companies have developed an all in one package for their many production company clients, combining script research (legal clearance reports), web site design and content research.
Offering some of the lowest rates in the industry for legal clearance reports, the bulk of the clientele for Hollywood Script Research consists of independent filmmakers and production companies. Realizing the importance of new technology today for the independent entertainment sector, Erin Whitcomb, director of publicity for Hollywood Script Research contacted Jason Manacker CEO and co-owner, Reactive Web Design Inc. Shortly after the concept of a package deal and alliance between the two companies arose.
The alliance will offer the clients of Hollywood Script Research and the production clients of Reactive Web Design, the opportunity to; as they say kill two birds with one stone. The package will allow clients that are having a legal research report done to qualify for their errors and omissions insurance, the chance to have a domain name registered with the name of their project or their production company, and construction of an up to 3 page company or project profile website at a package price. Reactive Web Design Inc. Will also offer the clients the ability to add features or pages to this basic profile site at an ala Carte, per service/feature charge. Along with this package price, Hollywood Script Research will keep the website free and clear of any legal issues such as copyright infringement etc. Each site will have a report created just as a movie would to assess the legal risks and change anything that could create a problem. Whitcomb remarks It is becoming increasingly popular for website owners to insure their sites with errors and omissions insurance just as a movie would. The legal risks that are associated with website content are often similar to that of movie or television show."
When asked what prompted his interest in forming an alliance with a script research firm Manacker replied, Although our functions are different, our goal is the same. We want to protect a film, production company, writer or actor by not only giving them a web presence and utilizing the full marketing and publicity powers of the Internet. But also by registering a legal domain name which in my opinion is as important as registering a legal company name."
Both companies are excited about this alliance and feel their clients will be too.
