Coastal Training Technologies' Latest Video Release Features Acclaimed Motivational Speaker Rudy Ruettiger

Virginia Beach, VA - Rudy Ruettiger became an inspiration to millions in "Rudy", the 1993 blockbuster film about his dream of playing football at Notre Dame. Now the acclaimed motivational speaker has joined with Coastal Training Technologies Corp. to take his inspirational message into the workplace.

In "Rudy: Safety Takes Courage", Coastals newest motivational training video, Rudy describes how the tragic workplace death of his friend became the driving force behind accomplishments in his early years. The training package includes a 16-minute video, 50 employee handbooks, a laminated poster and a PowerPoint presentation on CD-ROM.

Before attending Notre Dame, Ruettiger worked at a power plant where he witnessed the death of a close friend in a tragic workplace accident. "People who see the movie about my life come up to me and tell me how much my story helped them," Ruettiger said. "But few people know that what really motivated me to reach for my dreams was the accident."

Ruettiger is under contract to Coastal to be featured in a line of corporate training products focusing on motivational safety. Long-range plans include the creation of topic-specific products published in various media formats. While in Virginia Beach, Ruettiger will be involved in a creative process that will culminate in the production of DVD, CD-ROM, print and video training resources.
