Scala Extends Partnership with Fujitsu Invia in Northern Europe

Scala strengthens its channel in Sweden through reseller agreement with Fujitsu Invia

29 May 2002: Scala Business Solutions is extending its existing partnership agreement with Fujitsu Invia, one of the largest IT consulting companies in Scandinavia. Fujitsu Invia currently sells and implements Scalas collaborative ERP solutions in Finland and will from now also cover the Swedish market. Fujitsu Invia Finland is one of Scalas largest resellers in Northern Europe.

Our main goal is to establish Invias position as a leading Scala reseller in Sweden," says Taija Engman, Director of the Midmarket Business Unit for Fujitsu Invia. We have already worked with Scala on an international basis for ten years and last year we improved our service and project management models to be more efficient than ever before. Our customers benefit from our experience and investment on continuous development of outstanding services with selling best-of-breed ERP solutions in the Nordic region, as well as worldwide. Scalas solutions complement the SAP solutions we offer for large or complex businesses."

Björn Andersson, Senior Vice President Operations for Scala Northern Europe is confident that the extended partnership will be as successful in Sweden as it is in Finland. Fujitsu Invia Finland was awarded 'Best Performing In-Country Reseller earlier this year for its proven excellence in customer service. They have been very successful selling and implementing Scala in Finland and we have full confidence in their capabilities to extend our partnership."

With the help of the extended partnership agreement, Fujitsu Invia is able to broaden its offering for small to middle sized enterprises and corporate business units in Sweden. With our IT infrastructure outsourcing concept Provia we are able to provide full service for our Scala customers locally in Sweden, and globally for international customers," says Engman.

Andersson notes that global companies are increasingly looking to Scala to provide standard collaborative ERP solutions that can be used worldwide. Our solutions are attractive because they not only have in-built legislative and language capabilities to support global operations but also because they offer a standard platform for advanced e-business connectivity. We need partners like Fujitsu Invia to help us deliver collaborative solutions that are right for the needs of global businesses today."
